First of all, your question is a very good question because this matter is stated directly in the Quran and shows the importance for us to obey them. To answer your question, we will use Tafsir Ibn Kathir (as explained later) because the Quran cannot simply be translated. Ones need wide range of knowledge (ex: where the ayat revealed, why it was revealed etc) to get the real meaning of Quran and certain ayat only Allah The All-Knowing knows the true meaning of them as in first ayat in Surah Al-Baqarah which consist of only 3 letters

What is the function of aswad stone in one of the corner in kaabah?

Hajarul Aswad or Black Stone located at the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba. The Stone is roughly 30 cm (12 in.) in diameter, and 1.5 meters (5 ft.) above the ground. We touch or kiss it in order to honor us with association with the great Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. We don’t exaggerate in our love for it. We do kiss it because our Prophet Muhammad s.a.w did so.

There are various reports concerning the origin of the Black Stone, but most of them are of doubtful origins. In Islam, we should not base our belief on sources which we cannot verify one hundred percent. The only fact that we can certainly establish is that it was put there by Prophet Ibrahim and Ismail (peace be upon them both) by the order of Almighty Allah, and the purpose of it was to indicate the beginning of tawaf (Circumambulation of the Ka`bah).

Prinsip ketaatan, syura dan sikap raja-raja

Ratu Balqis menyedari akan perihal kekuatan bala tentera Raja Sulaiman. Ratu telah mendengar kekuasaan dan kekuatan Raja Sulaiman itu bukan calang-calang. Bani Israel itu pernah ditakluk Jalut. Kemudian dibangkitkan Talut untuk mendepani Jalut.

Setelah itu, Jalut terbunuh oleh salah seorang tentera bernama Daud. Dan dengan kerana itulah Daud akhirnya diangkat sebagai raja yang bijaksana. Kini, anaknya Sulaiman telah mengambil takhta dan kedudukannya sebagai raja Bani Israel yang baru.

Ratu Balqis pernah mendengar kehebatan Daud. Baginda boleh melembutkan besi keras dengan tangannya. Tetapi, Daud juga gemar bersuluk sendirian menyanyikan lagu pujian kepada Tuhan dengan kitab Zabur (Mazmur).

Suaranya yang gemersik itu menyebabkan haiwan dan burung-burung yang berterbangan menjadi jinak, terpaku lalu ikut sama bertasbih mengelilingi Daud tatkala gurindam lagu pujian kemesraan kepada Tuhan itu didendangkan.

Pada zaman anak Daud, iaitu Sulaiman, burung-burung itulah yang menjadi bala tentera anak-anaknya. Sulaiman memahami jalan bahasa haiwan.

Dan, tadi Ratu Balqis telah menerima sepucuk surat daripada burung Hud Hud yang kini diangkat sebagai 'wartawan ' baru bagi mewakili Raja Sulaiman itu.
